WE'RE PART OF A TEAM OF COOPERATING
PROFESSIONALS.

In the world of fast-paced technology and constantly changing laws, it's simply not possible to be all things to all clients.  That's why we work with our clients' other advisors as part of a team of cooperating professionals, each providing independent and objective advice.

The lawyers of Virginia Estate Plans, PLC contribute to the team by providing superior estate planning knowledge.  We are capable of designing state-of-the-art plans, but also understand that each plan must first and foremost reflect the client's personal values and address the client's unique circumstances.  Therefore, each client plan is not only technically excellent but also provides practical solutions to real life concerns.

The lawyers of our sister firm Virginia Fiduciary, PLC, contribute a solid understanding of fiduciary principles, years of experience in implementing estate plans, and the expertise to carry out the client's wishes in any situation.  Virginia Fiduciary not only advises clients who are acting as executors or trustees, it provides personalized fiduciary services as authorized by Virginia law.

We believe that keeping the team in place when a client dies ensures a smooth transition of wealth from the client to his chosen beneficiaries.

Virginia Fiduciary does not provide investment management services.  Those responsibilities are delegated to professional investment advisors who, acting in compliance with prudent investor standards, determine specific asset allocation and make the investment decisions necessary to achieve the trust's investment objectives.  Each account must have an investment policy statement which is reviewed annually.  Typically, the selection of investment advisor is made by the client.
